Influence of Media and Sowing Condition on Field Emergence of Palmyrah (Borassus flabellifer L.)

Studies were carried out to find the influence of media and sowing conditions on field emergence Palmyrah seeds. The seeds sown in a sunken nursery bed, raised direct observe emergence. experiment was conducted Randomized Block Design with eight replications 50 each treatment. observations recorded at monthly intervals up 24 months after sowing. results revealed that bed containing red earth, sand farmyard manure 2:1:1 ratio highest 78.67 % followed by conditions. This study concluded used for sowing/multiplication purpose.
